When Using Waterproof shade net, Choose a Reasonable Net Type

Compared with open-field cultivation, the average yield, output value and net income per mu of vegetable under waterproof shade net mulching will increase. Therefore, it has broad application prospects in vegetable production. However, when using shade net, we should choose a reasonable net type, otherwise it may backfire.

1. There are many types of shading nets, different specifications, different colors of shading nets, shading rate and cooling effect are different, different kinds of vegetables, light intensity requirements are different. Therefore, suitable shade nets should be selected according to the type of vegetables and the intensity of light during the covering period.

2. Waterproof shading net has 75% and 45% shading rate. High shading rate is only suitable for flowers and shade-tolerant vegetables. We generally use 45% shading net in vegetable production.

3. In summer and autumn season, vegetable seedlings or slow seedling short-term coverage, mostly using black shading net coverage, to prevent viral diseases, but also can choose silver grey net or black grey shading net with color.
